Speak Well Program
This program is based on three key steps:

  1. Teach the skills and techniques of writing, preparing and delivering a presentation.
  2. Practise delivery skills and impromptu speaking in classroom exercises
  3. Apply these skills to specific assessable spoken assignments

Structured Learning
The full program can be delivered over a period of three years, with a structured development of skills in the key areas of:

  1. Selection of topic and/or approach, choice of content & speech-writing.
  2. Preparation (including speech notes)
  3. Vocal Delivery
  4. Visual Component
  5. Each unit of work ends with a specific assignment for which they are provided exemplars

Proven Over Time

Student Workbook
This 68 page workbook is designed for students from all secondary years - providing a resource that they can use over a number of years. It takes them step-by-step through the process of writing and preparing for a successful spoken presentation. It follows on with specific sections on the most common types of oral presentations.
